Biography

JAMES SCOTT
BORN: 30 AUGUST 2000
COUNTRY: SCOTLAND

James Scott was born in Glasgow and made his first appearance for Motherwell when playing for the club's under-20 team in the Scottish Challenge Cup, all at the tender age of just 15. He then progressed to make his senior debut in the Scottish Premiership in April 2018.

With a growing reputation as been a tall, (6ft 2inchs) fast and good in the air, the young striker signed a new contract on 15 February 2019, which would keep him at Motherwell until 2022.

By the end of January, Scott had scored six goals in 28 appearances for Motherwell during the 2019–20 season.
Motherwell finally accepted an offer (rumoured to be £1.5 million) from Hull City for Scott on 31 January 2020.
