CONVINCING 3-0 WIN

Jon Toral headed Grant McCann’s side into the lead after just 19 seconds at Prenton Park before winger David Milinkovic doubled the lead on six minutes with his first goal for the Club. Milinkovic then turned provider as his corner was headed home by Ryan Tafazolli in emphatic fashion to make it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time.

The hosts rallied in the second half, with Morgan Ferrier rattling the crossbar from 25 yards out, but the Tigers were never seriously threatened as they saw the game out to claim a sixth successive victory over Tranmere in all competitions, scoring 21 goals in the process.
