So after Wednesday night’s defeat against the Champions elect Burnley, we head to Reading.
Some would say that we don’t have much to play for BUT be patient and keep the faith.
Reading beat us 1v2 with a 94th minute OG from Ryan Longman.
A win today would see us one win from being certain of staying up.
This is the first full season under our new owners and it’s a steep learning curve in the Championship.
We’ve seen some kamikaze defending (Swansea away) and the leakiest defence turned around by Liam Rosenior.
All good teams are built from the back.
I’d like to see a Ranocchia type leader signed in defence.
In midfield we certainly have talent but again we need a leader.
Up front we need to find a way to use Oscar and Tetteh’s talent more effectively.
So onto Reading and we could face two ex Tigers in Shane Long and Tom Ince.
Reading have lost 5 of their last 6 games scoring 4 and conceding 11.
The bookies have us as favourites.
Although we lost on Wednesday we gave a good account but didn’t take our chances.
