Robbie McKenzie joined Hull City at the age of just nine, progressing through the age groups and impressing enough to secure a scholarship in July 2016. Robbie was born and raised in Hull and is a by-product of what is now a the very successful and productive Academy set-up at Hull.

It was on 22 August 2017, he made his debut, unfortunately this was in a 2–0 EFL Cup loss against Doncaster.

During the 2018/19 season Robbie has started to make an good impression in the first team, with his League Cup appearance’s closely followed by his first league start, coming off the bench away at Rotherham.

His first full 90 minutes came at home in front of the Hull supporters in what must of been a memorable game playing for your home team, in front of the Hull supporters and then securing a 1 nil victory against Bolton.

On 28 February 2018, McKenzie signed a two-year contract with the club.
