Another great night of questions with a couple of fantastic characters.

Although, due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to make a late change to the date of our most recent Meet the Player event, those who were able to come along enjoyed another insight into a couple of the Club’s players, their story so far and their characters.

Hosted by Darren Lethem of KCFM (who’d clearly done his homework on both Stephen and Daniel in advance of the night), we had a vast array of questions for the lads, who both presented very different aspects to their season.

Stability for both was a big part of their thoughts - from Stephen’s perspective, now that he’s returned from a lengthy injury break, it was about ensuring he did everything he could to win a regular place in the starting line up, whereas for Daniel, he was keen to continue the work he puts in and earn a place on the first team team sheet. He felt that due to the managerial changes we’ve seen this season, and last, that he has kept having to prove himself to the new managers, but was pleased to have signed a new deal with the Club to keep him with us and kick on!

Young Harry in the audience wasn’t short of a question or two and was a star in his own right at the other side of the stage, but there were some excellent questions throughout the evening, for which we thank everyone for that. And yes, Daniel’s Dad is David, “but not that one”!

Richard, one of our guests, received a nice surprise on the night, as he was presented with a signed shirt by the lads - a present arranged by his granddaughter for his recent 80th birthday.

We look forward to organising similar events for you next season, we wish Stephen an enjoyable stag do & a fantastic wedding, and both players a succesful trip out to Kenya shortly after the Brentford game.
