Our first Meet the Players event of the 2025/26 season takes place at the Duke of Cumberland, High Street in North Ferriby, where we are delighted to be joined by Charlie Hughes and Joe Gelhardt.

After youth spells at Manchester City and Liverpool, Charlie joined his hometown club of Wigan at under-15s level in 2017. A professional contract was signed the next year followed by a successful six year period with the Latics. August 2024 saw the England Under-20s international joining the Tigers, with him soon becoming a fans favourite at the MKM.

Joe Gelhardt also began his footballing career at Wigan, signing for them at just 10 years old. Ironically his first senior goal was scored against the Tigers in a game which finished 2-2. Joining Leeds United in August 2020, as well as 35 Premier League appearances City loanee Joe has also had plenty of international experience, with caps at U15, U16, U17, U18 and U20 levels.
