Easington’s Richard Lusmore has recently launched his second book which this time, follows Hull City’s rollercoaster journey through the late 1980s and the 1990s.
It is the sequel to his debut work “Not All Ticket” - a fairly straightforward sequel to write given that he had so much material for his first book, that the remaining stories just had to be published.
This second book contains a foreword by ex Tiger’s goalkeeper Alan Ferris, indeed Ferris appeared at a local launch event at The Stags Head Inn in Lelley alongside Richard, telling many a tale of his days at Boothferry Park as well as signing copies of “Special Attraction” for fans.
The period covered by the book was chaotic, from optimism to crisis, fan disorder, a damaging spending spree at the Club and relegation to the lowest of the main four football leagues - all from an ardent fan’s perspective.
The book is published by Pitch Publishing, and is available from all good bookshops at an R.R.P. of £19.99 or directly from Richard by email r.lusmore@btinternet.com
