Hull City AFC vs West Bromich Albion - Saturday 20th December 3pm - Match Preview by Lee Dolman

Two straight wins against in-form teams puts our Superheroes back in the top 6.

As the home fans boos rang out at the Den, our squad celebrated to John Denver’s “Take Me Country Roads”. They then morphed into their superhero costumes and flew direct to Dublin (plane not required) to refuel on Guinness, although no one can confirm how many pints this required

In true, superhero tradition, all remained in costume for the duration, so as to keep secret, their true identities.

They safely returned to base, much to the relief of our Head Coach and mastermind ,

Sergej. Now refuelled, refreshed and ready to do battle, this time against the Baggies.

Our fortress has been breached by both the Smoggies and Tractor Boys in recent weeks.

However, we now have a front line of McBurnie, Millar and Belloumi. McBurnie has scored twice with just two substitution appearances. Kyle Joseph has added goals to his amazing work rate with 3 goals in 2 games, 6 so far this season.

West Bromwich Albion are struggling away from home, 6 defeats in their last 6 games away from the Hawthorns, scoring 6 and conceding 13.

Managed by our former £10M signing Ryan Mason, they have midfielders, Wallace and Collyer out injured.

The league is so tight that they are 10 places below us but only 6 points behind.

I am hoping that our refreshed and energised squad is on it for the full 90 minutes again, as we were against Wrexham. If so, then the firepower that we have in McBurnie and Jospeh and the mercurial skills of Millar and Belloumi, with Giles and Coyle also adept at putting in pinpoint crosses, should be enough to see off this Black Country side.

Sergej Jakirovic continues to impress with his dry sense of humour and his straight talking.

This looks to be the team and style of football Acun envisaged and a win tomorrow would be another step closer to achieving his dream.

Another win please, as an early Christmas present.
Merry Christmas to you All ?⭐️
