Merry Christmas from the Board and Officers of HCOSC

After a rather hectic 2017, I am certainly looking forward to a bit of rest & relaxation over Christmas and the New Year, and will probably enjoy a little too much food & drink, but hey, it's Christmas!

As we move into the New Year, I'm hoping there'll be an upturn in fortunes on the football pitch, our injury list will diminish, and the January transfer window will bring in additional strength to our squad. Off the field, there's nothing more rewarding than being able to put a smile on a face - I've been fortunate enough to witness many smiles over the last year or so, as through our activities, we've been able to provide you with opportunities to get closer to the football club, and also to support our local communities through our charitable work. All of this will continue into 2018 and beyond. We are though always open to new ideas, different approaches in our delivery - so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you think we're missing that vital secret ingredient, and we'll see if we can incorporate it in our future plans.

I would like to sincerely thank you all for your continued support over the last year, and wish you & your families a lovely Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

PS - Look out for our President Sir Tom Courtenay starring on our TV screens on New Year's Day, BBC1 6.55pm in Grandpa's Great Escape - he tells me this adaptation of David Walliams' bestselling book is sure to be thought provoking!
