What can we expect this season

After months of waiting, the new season is finally upon us again. The first home game this Saturday is almost upon us.

The World Cup was a brilliant distraction for those wanting to get their football fix over the summer and I must say, the standard of women’s football has gone through the ceiling. I found it very entertaining but it's great to have the real stuff back!

And am not referring to the Premier league either, the real stuff is in the Championship, What I mean by that is, the football that you see week in week out in the Championship is a lot nearer to how football should be, less diving, an absence of overpaid prima donnas.

But let’s look specifically at Hull City.

I am for one now look forward with equal amounts of apprehension and anticipation to the new 2019 -20 season. Or maybe that should be excitement, there have been plenty of changes here at Hull City, possibly more than we could have possibly envisaged. In total Hull City have made 10 signings and at the same time managed to keep hold of both Kamil & Jarrod.

Who saw that coming, I think it is safe to say, NOBODY? When I say plenty of changes, I am not just referring to the new Manager and the players, we now have HULL CITY back on the club badge.

The intent from the Club is there for everyone to see and I hope the fans will get behind the team this season

Over the next few days we will take a look at the current squad, starting tomorrow we will start with with the Manager Grant McCann, then follow over the following days with the Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfield and finally the Strikers.
