5. Terms & Conditions

MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Membership of the Hull City Official Supporters Club (HCOSC) is for a one, two or three year period commencing upon receipt of the full payment for the appropriate period.
  2. The aim is to provide the strongest possible support to Hull City both at the KCOM Stadium and at away matches, whatever the fortunes of the football club might be.
  3. HCOSC is not a protest group. Generally, our ‘official’ status means that we are aligned with the club and almost a part of it. Like any official supporters’ club, we must be wholly supportive of our football club. Our one key stance is to be pro Hull and pro Hull City, we would ask that HCOSC members reflect this outlook.
  4. As an Official Supporters Club member you will be entitled to the benefits listed on the ‘Join us’ membership page of the website. These benefits may be altered, withdrawn or substituted due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that this is the case members will be informed through the website.
  5. Any member may resign their membership at any time before their respective expiry date by writing to or emailing the Company Secretary and a refund will be made proportionate to the unexpired period (rounded to 75%, 50% or 25%). No refund will be given if the unexpired period is less than a month.
  6. Any member found to have been the subject of a football or stadium banning order or any similar sanction as imposed by Hull City, The SMC, The F.A. or the police will have their membership revoked without refund or right of appeal.
  7. HCOSC events are primarily provided for the benefit of members but may be open to the public as ‘pay in advance’ or ‘pay on the day’. Anyone attending a HSOSC event is therefore bound by these terms & conditions as a ‘Temporary Member’ for the duration of their attendance at the event in question. HCOSC reserves the right to protect other member’s enjoyment by asking any member or temporary member to leave if their behaviour or language is deemed by a HCOSC official to be unacceptable or disruptive.
  8. Any person who has been asked to leave a HCOSC event will have their membership status reviewed and a warning may be issued. In extreme circumstances membership may be revoked. In the event of membership being revoked a hearing may requested in witting or by email by the individual, within 7 days of the incident occurring. They will then have the opportunity to present their case. A decision will then be made, which will be final with no further right of appeal. All hearings will consist of a panel having a minimum of two HSOSC Directors and one independent witness or a third HCOSC official where no independent witness was present.
  9. We will not sell or provide your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting, unless you have opted out of this by request.
  10. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information and address is kept up to date. Please contact us if you move house or change your details so that we can ensure you still enjoy benefits like Tigermag or event invitations.
  11. Where appropriate junior members – known as Tiger Cubs, are bound by the same rules as adult (full) members but ultimately it is the responsibility of junior member’s parents or guardians to ensure that their child/ward behaves responsibly at HCOSC events.
  12. Honorary or complimentary memberships, as with temporary memberships, are subject to the same terms and conditions as full members.
