We’re delighted to announce that Matt Crooks and Elliot Stroud will be joining us for a special Meet the Player event at the Duke of Cumberland, North Ferriby, on Tuesday 24th November! ?⚽

Come along for a fantastic opportunity to meet two of our Hull City Premier League players, hear more about life behind the scenes, ask your burning questions and get involved in all things Hull City! ??

? Some facts to get you started…

? Matt Crooks – Matt aka The Tree joined the Tigers from Real Salt Lake in January 2025. Since then the tireless midfielder has made more than 50 appearances for the Tigers, even starting in the play-off final victory against his former club at Wembley. That win sent Hull back to the Premier League, and Matt has made 4 league starts so far in the Tigers’ electric start to the season, including the opening day win over Manchester United. His presence has grown in the club through a combination of crucial goals and his outgoing personality, with his face dominating Hull City social media and his love for a post-match selfie with the fans. The Tree is now planted in the club’s identity⚽

? Elliot Stroud – Elliot is one of the Tigers’ newest recruits, joining the club in August from Swedish club Mjällby AIF. The versatile left footer can play anywhere down the left side, using his speed and skill to blitz past defenders. He helped the Swedish club get their first league title in their history, and his performances made him a Swedish international, taking him to the World Cup in America where he played in all of Sweden’s games. Stroud made his debut for the club in Hull’s 2-0 opening day victory against Man United. He has 7 appearances so far for the Tigers and registered his first assist in the Tigers’ recent draw against Everton.
