We rounded of a brilliant calendar year of fundraising in December by depositing a massive £3,752.18 into the Tigers Trust in the Community Bank Account.
The money was raised through monthly quizzes at The Constable Arms in Sproatley, numerous rounds of our ever popular and ever increasing numbers of participants Last Man Standing Competition, as well as pre match activities in the Tigers Trust Arena, which culminated in one of our biggest cash jackpots being won at the last home match by regular supporter Ian, who was sharing the £560+ with 2 of his Hull City fan friends.
This brilliant total included £300 which was part of our Player of the Season award, with Ivor Pandur the winner of the 2024/25 season award, choosing to award the charity donation we offered up as part of his prize, to the Tigers Trust.
We would like to thank everyone who helped us raise this money, as we know it’ll be put to good use by the Trust in the local community.
Lorna Leach, Director of Community at Tigers Trust adds her thanks to all involved, with Kayleigh Jackson, Head of Community, Engagement and Safeguarding who was present at our Sproatley Quiz Night last month advising quizzers on the types of wellbeing projects the money help fund.
