HCOSC present cheque to Hull and East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club

The Board and Officers of HCOSC invited members of the Hull and East Yorkshire, Powerchair Football Club, also known as the "Electric Eels" along to the OSC AGM held on Saturday 26th May.

The two groups met and chatted about each clubs aims and objectives. We have already featured the Electric Eels in the Tiger Mag, but it was interesting to hear more about their specialist wheel chair fund. The players need a robust wheel chair that can meet the demands of the sport and whilst many use their everyday wheelchairs with "bumpers" attached, having purpose built equipment will help the players progress.

The newly formed HCOSC Golf Society, held its inaugural event on the 25th April at the Skidby Lakes Golf Club. The whole day was a great success and the society members were pleased that we had chosen to raise money for the "Electric Eels" fund.

Electric Eels, Steph and Luke came along and accepted a cheque for £261 from the society organisers Keith Harvey and Ian Graves.
