We were delighted to be joined by Jarrod and OSC member Andrew and his grandson earlier today, to present a cheque for £300 to Jarrod’s chosen charity which was Dove House Hospice, to their representative Jethro Shearring.

The donation was a gesture that has been “very much appreciated” by Dove House themselves, and Jarrod was equally pleased to be able to help a local cause that touches so many people.

Andrew was selected to represent our members and was one who voted for Jarrod, and was honoured to be asked to come along. In a surprise twist to the occasion, he proved himself to be more than adept at interviewing Jarrod when given the opportunity by Hull City for 5 to 10 minutes after the presentation. There’ll be more to follow on that, but ‘lights, camera and action’ didn’t phase him at all! Watch this space...
