Biography

REECE BURKE – DEFENDER
BORN: 2 AUGUST 1996
COUNTRY: ENGLAND

Reece is from a West Ham-supporting family, joining the East London club at the tender age of nine.

A product of the West Ham United youth system, Burke has also played for Bradford City, Wigan & Bolton. During his spell at Bradford, Reece managed in picking up seven accolades at Bradford City’s End-of-Season Awards Night 2015-16, including the Player of the Year award, after scoring twice in 36 appearances during his time at Valley Parade.

Burke’s next temporary switch saw him head out to newly-promoted Bolton Wanderers ahead of the 2017/18 second-tier campaign, where he was reunited with, Ex Hull City Manager, Phil Parkinson. It was Phil who had previously taken him to Bradford.

On the international front, Burke has represented England at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20s levels, making a total of ten appearances for his country.

In July 2018, Burke joined Hull City after signing a three-year contract with the club.
