Born 18th November 1983 (34) in Northallerton, England.

Michael is the youngest of 3 brothers who managed to play football professionally, Kevin Dawson previously of Chesterfield and Andy Dawson who need little, if any introduction to Hull City fans.

The former Spurs skipper left just one year short from a testimonial to join Hull City in August 2014.

Michael has been a tower of strength at the back and a threat when going forward. In addition he has also shown he is a leader having spent a large period of his time at Hull as captain.
