Biography

Born 5th March 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland.

David Marshall has managed to save a penalty against Ronaldinho when Celtic played Barcelona.

In 2012-2013 while playing for Cardiff he managed eighteen clean sheets and played a pivotal role in Cardiff's promotion into the Premier League that season.

Cardiff only managed 1 year in the top league but Marshall excelled with more saves than any other goalkeeper in the Premier league with 101 saves. This earned David a place in Sky Sports premier League team of the year.

In August 2016 David Marshall signed on the dotted line for Hull City. Under Mike Phelan David had a torrid start as the No 1 goalkeeper for Hull City. Now at the start of the 2018/19 season David will be all out to show the City fans what he can do between the sticks as he did for Cardiff City.
