Burton Albion first team to the KCOM this season.

So with some sadness it will not be the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, and Southampton who will be facing the Tigers this season, not even Huddersfield as it turns out. For the first time at the KCOM stadium we welcome Burton Albion.

After what was a good second half performance playing away against Villa last week, Leonid Slutsky will be hoping that City can keep that momentum going right from the off against Burton.
With Sebastian Larsson having now joined the club that make 7 new faces this season along with Ondrej Mazuch, Kevin Stewart, Frazier Campbell, and Callum Burton and on season long loans Michael Hector and Ola Aina.

So at this stage we don’t know who the first 11 will be but one would hope we have enough in the locker to win this game. A good start is essential if we want to push for promotion and despite relegation last season we need to win our home games regardless of who it is.

This season the fans certainly have a role to play as well as the players, it’s a commonly used phase but yes we need to make the KCOM Stadium a fortress this year.
