The US International signs from Nottingham Forest

Hull City have completed the signing of defender Eric Lichaj from Nottingham Forest for an
undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old United States international has signed a two-year deal, with an additional
one-year option held by the Club.

Speaking about the move, Lichaj said: “I’m excited about playing here and I’m looking
forward to getting started with pre-season next week.

“It’s a fresh start for me and I want to repay Hull City for the faith that they have shown in
me by bringing me here. I’ll be working my hardest, as I always do, every day in training
and on matchdays.”

An experienced right back, Lichaj has more than 250 senior appearances to his name with
the majority of those coming at Championship level.

His breakthrough in English football came with Aston Villa, making a Premier League
debut in 2010. Lichaj’s time at Villa Park also included loan spells with Lincoln City, Leyton
Orient and Leeds United, before he made the permanent move to Nottingham Forest in
the summer of 2013.

He has been the regular right back at the City Ground ever since and grabbed the
headlines last season when he scored twice in a 4-2 FA Cup victory over Arsenal.

On the international scene, Lichaj made his senior debut in 2010 and so far has 15 caps to
his name.
