Goalkeeper Matt Ingram joins The Tigers

Hull City can confirm the first signing of the 2019/20 summer transfer window with goalkeeper Matt Ingram joining from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

25-year-old Ingram joins the Tigers on a 3-year contract with a 1-year option in the Club’s favour after spending three years in West London with Queens Park Rangers, making 10 appearances in that time.

Following his arrival at the KCOM Stadium, Ingram said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be here and I’m looking forward to a fresh start with Hull City.”

“It’s a new chapter for me and I’m looking forward to helping this club to push up the table and do as well as it can.”

Prior to his three-year spell at Loftus Road, Ingram also spent six years at his hometown club Wycombe Wanderers, where the goalkeeper came through the ranks and made 124 appearances, keeping 40 clean sheets in the process.

The shot-stopper adds to new Head Coach Grant McCann’s goalkeeping options for the upcoming season.
